Overview:
Research into the nature of information exchanged between people working together to find information on the web.
Project Details:
People often look for information with others, they may sit in front of a computer together or email each other URLs and other information. This study examines the use of instant messaging in supporting collaborative information retrieval. Quantitative and qualitative data have been collected to study information seekers’ behavior. The student on this project will participate in the analysis of this data.
